So said many experts, with the media zealously using such
ostentatious predictions to sell newspapers and attract website clicks. Those of us living in the Chicago area are
still waiting; so far this has been the warmest winter in 80-years. Tomorrow is Groundhog Day and that leaves
only around 6-weeks or so for us to be awestruck with the experts’ abilities to
make precise long-term predictions. Is
it remotely possible that science and technology still does not measure up to
such a task? Obviously. However, do not expect the media or the
weather experts to admit as much.

You just had to tempt the gods, didn't you?
We have had similar weather in MN, but I figure that one horrendous storm could make it average out. I hope that does not happen.
Or maybe we will have frost into July.
Heh, if we start having non-stop blizzards, I am deleting this post.
Shirtsleeve weather here today in TX; it keeps bouncing between freezing and warmness.
Things are budding out way too early.Hope fruit trees don't start blooming!

Grace and peace.
